All grammar topics are taught in the context of medical terminology and expressions. The goal of this course is for students to have the necessary language skills in order to provide quality health care to Spanish speakers.

Each  week  consists of  4 hours of Spanish class daily - 8:00 am to  12:00 pm - from Monday to Fridays. In this schedule the participants will have the opportunity to take excursions in the afternoons. Also, people who travel with friends or family members who are participating in the Standard Spanish Program will be able to share the same schedule and do activities together in the afternoons and/or on the weekends.

If you decide to take the medical observation while you are in the Heredia campus, the observation would be in the mornings and the Spanish classes would be in the afternoons from
1:00 pm to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday.

The classes are for maximum 4 people, but if there is only one person taking the Seminar the same rate and schedule apply. The medical course has specific dates, please click here to see the 2010 schedule.
