Tradiciones de Semana Santa
Paralelamente a las tradiciones religiosas de Semana Santa se desarrolla una serie de costumbres paganas cuyo nacimiento estuvo asociado a la religión. Así, durante esta época, el estudiante experimentará con su familia tica y en la comunidad una amplia gama de tradiciones, independientemente de la religión que él o su familia profesen.
En esta semana los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de conocer las leyendas, las creencias populares y los hábitos turísticos de los costarricenses alrededor de las actividades de Semana Santa; pero, sobre todo, una tradición culinaria que nos fue heredada desde la época colonial y que se ha ido enriqueciendo a través de muchas generaciones.
Easter Traditions (Holy Week)
In parallel to the general religious traditions during Holy week, there are other pagan customs that have developed from the Catholic religion. Thus, during this time, the students will experience an ample range of traditions with his Tica family and also in the community, regardless of the religion that he or his family has.
During Holy week, students will have the opportunity to learn about legends, popular beliefs and the tourist habits of the Costa Ricans around Easter time; but above all a culinary tradition that was inherited to us from the colonial time and that has become richer and richer through many generations. |
